Kevin Stoddart has two primary responsibilities as a Managing Partner of Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette including leading executive search projects as well as providing direct oversight for Meridia, the firm’s full service recruitment company. Under his guidance, Meridia has grown to a team of 20 professionals focused on quickly connecting organizations with top talent in professional, managerial and technical roles both on a permanent and contract basis.
On the executive search side of things Kevin has personally completed hundreds of search projects with leading organizations. In the process, he has established a deep network within the business community of Atlantic Canada and beyond and acquired the knowledge and experience required to help clients evaluate their talent needs, and identify hard to find candidates for difficult to fill roles.
“Organizations hire us to bring exceptional individuals to the table,” says Stoddart. “The primary differentiator in business is people; talented people drive success. Without them, organizations struggle to compete. It’s not location, technology or marketing. These things all matter, but without talented employees, long-term success cannot be achieved… that’s where we come-in.”

In addition to his roles with Meridia and executive search, Kevin is involved in firm-wide management and leads business development and marketing initiatives for Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette under four practice areas: executive search, contingent recruitment, career transition and human resource consulting.
Kevin is an active leader in the community, having served with many influential not-for-profit organizations over the years. He is currently a member of the IWK Health Centre Board of Directors, serving on the Finance and Audit and Governance and Nominations Committee and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Waterfront Development Corporation and its Governance and Human Resources Committee. Previously, Kevin was a member of the Board for United Way of Halifax for over 10 years, where he served as Chair for two years. He received the Helen Cooper Award from the United Way in recognition of his long term commitment and dedication in 2017. “Community support is a cornerstone of Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette. Kevin holds both an undergraduate degree and an MBA from Saint Mary's University Sobey School of Business. He is also a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and an active member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD). Kevin resides in the Halifax area and enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and two daughters.
